RECENT PROJECT

Custom Barrier and Footing

The Slipform NZ team is proud to showcase our recent work on this Speedway upgrade in Auckland, where we kicked off a three-part slipforming project. Stage one focused on the footing, with 220m completed on day one, followed by 280m to finish the full track footing - all reinforced with SE82 mesh and D16 starter rods every 400mm. From there, we moved into barrier construction, completing approximately 500m across three pours in just one week using a custom 1.2m high mould with a deflection foot at the base and a rounded top edge.

RECENT PROJECT

Custom Inner Track Kerb

The inner kerb marked the third and final stage of this three-part slipforming project at the Waikaraka Speedway in Auckland.
With the footing and barrier already in place, the 1m wide by 350mm deep kerb spanned approximately 500m, bringing the track together and providing the finishing touch before the machine moved on to its next location.

RECENT PROJECT

Custom Roundabout Apron

Innovation was at the forefront of our latest roundabout pour with HEB Construction, where the Slipform NZ team trialled a new approach. Using a custom-altered mould, we formed the footing, kerb, and apron - along with mesh reinforcement - in a single continuous pass. This method eliminated joins and weak spots, resulting in one seamless and solid pour.

RECENT PROJECT

Custom Concrete Road and V Drain

We are excited to share the completion of a project featuring three concrete roads in the Auckland Region. The highlighted image showcases the first of these roads, spanning 420 linear meters and consuming 200 cubic meters of concrete within just 2 days. Our team's innovative approach included crafting a custom-built mould, designed with a V drain system along the road's edge, all while ensuring precise height maintenance for proper water runoff.

RECENT PROJECT

Custom Dish
Drain

Slipform NZ completed this significant project on the Brynderwyn Hills in collaboration with Fulton Hogan. The project involved the construction of a custom 1m wide by 260mm deep Dish Drain, reinforced with 3 continuous rods and spanning nearly a kilometer. We completed 2 out of 5 pours during the night to stay on schedule and are proud to have played a key role in the reopening of State Highway 1.

RECENT PROJECT

Kerb and Channel

Slipform NZ had the opportunity to contribute to this road transport project in the Auckland Region, where we implemented a range of kerbing profiles across the job. This particular vertical kerb and channel design demonstrates our dedication to precision and delivering high-quality results.

RECENT PROJECT

2.5m Shared
Pathway

We recently completed a slipforming project in the southern Bay of Plenty, where we paved a 2.5m pathway over two days, right in front of a school. The benefits of slipforming this job included minimal disruption to both students and staff, as well as the ability to create smooth and consistent surfaces - important for the safety and durability of the pavement.

RECENT PROJECT

3m Shared
Pathway

Slipform NZ is proud to showcase our machine in action on this project, where we constructed an impressive 3-meter wide exposed aggregate, continuous footpath in Auckland. This particular project involved using a center-mounted mould on a 4.5 meter wide site, where our operator’s precision was essential in achieving minimal clearance while paving over mesh.

RECENT PROJECT

Subdivision 1.5m Pathway

Slipform NZ played a key role in the development of this subdivision in Gisborne, where we completed consecutive 200m+ days of slipforming 1.5m wide footpaths. A highlight of the project was crafting a custom 13mm round river stone exposed aggregate slipformed pathway - a first in New Zealand. The crew also completed over 1500sqm of decorative pram crossings, right-of-ways, and road centers. Slipform NZ is dedicated to fulfilling every concrete need, reducing the need for multiple contractors, and ensuring comprehensive project delivery.

RECENT PROJECT

Commercial
Carpark Kerb

Slipform NZ delivered precision-engineered kerbing for this commercial carpark, helping keep traffic moving smoothly while offering a tough, low-maintenance solution. Our advanced slipform technology allowed us to create clean, consistent lines, providing both functionality and aesthetics to enhance the overall design of the carpark.
